It is time for both the left and the right to drop their dogmatic stupidity and face up to reality.   Here are a few truths most people need to learn how to accept.

1. Bigotry no matter how you justify it is still bigotry.
2. The economy is fucked up and neither side is blameless.
3. Women who claim they want the America that the founders envisioned need to shut the fuck up, because the founders never envisioned you as having any rights.
4. Language changes over time so don’t think you understand what the founding fathers meant unless you have a grasp on late Eighteenth Century linguistics.
5. Voting for candidates based on their social agendas over their economic policy is not only counter productive but a fine way to show you are easily led by anyone who can play to your prejudices.
6. Class warfare is real and the only people who say differently happen to be on the winning side.
7. The money you pay in taxes no longer belongs to you, accept it and move on.
8. Criminalizing something doesn’t stop people from doing it anymore than refusing to believe in the truth makes it false.
9. If you go five miles an hour over the posted speed limit because you think you can get away with it is no different than people committing welfare fraud, shoplifters, or illegal immigrants.
10. Telling someone what you think they should do is not the same as helping them accomplish it.
