Fat No More

Yeah right. I am still fat at the start of week three of my diet and frankly that doesn’t surprise me. I would surprise the idiots who tout low carb diets as a miracle plan with no real understanding of anything more than how to run their mouths.
On that note in two weeks I have gone through more that 12 dozen eggs, two hams, 5 pounds of bacon, 6 pounds of sausages, more than a dozen pounds of steak, 10 pounds of pork chops, a couple of chickens, a couple dozen deep fried chicken legs among other stuff and dropped 20 pounds. For those who want to tell me low carb diets don’t work well you can kiss my hairy but nearly as fat ass.
20 pounds gone 120 to go!

Well I said on Monday that I was changing. I have been too. This is day four of my diet, a non-hyped low carb diet. This isn’t a diet for everyone, and frankly it has to become your complete life. I have been on various diets before and this is the only thing I have ever been able to do long term. Faced with that and knowing I carry the family fat gene, there was very little other choice.

Everyone has a path to weigh less and the one thing every weight-loss guru will tell you from Jenny Craig to Robert Atkins; from the South Beach guy to vegan mystics spouting mumbo jumbo, that one thing they will all tell you is don’t be dissuaded by the non believer. Here is how I know this is the right path for me. Read more of this Parenting Magazine Article

There it is. I look in the mirror and I hate myself. I have started my diet again today. Being stuck without any transportation and no way to get over to see the chiropractor for the better part of a month has left me pretty well unable to move most of the day. I figure in three or for days I can start exercising to go along with my diet. My seven day goal is 5 pounds lost and to be able to walk to end of the block without being in pain. Most of that second goal is mostly chiropractic fixes, but it is still a goal. Things will Change, because they have to change.
